Sepehr Talebi is a Berlin-based video maker working with moving image, sound, text, and installation. His practice is grounded in montage and the reorganization of cinematic materials through layering, interruption, altered colour, and sound.

Across essay film and spatial presentation, he examines how images change when they are removed from their original contexts and brought into new relations. His recent works focus on unstable encounters between image, history, and the conditions in which an image is seen and heard.
